About
All forms of storytelling interest me. Whether it’s an interactive story of a client’s needs meeting a customer’s, an illustrated story to educate viewers of all ages, or an animated story to catch attention and interest, I work in whatever medium I need to tell the right story.
Rhode Island School of Design (2011) with a degree in Film/Animation, during which time I studied abroad at Kyoto Seika University and first started working in interaction design at Brown University‘s Computer Science department under Andy van Dam. Since graduating, I’ve worked on several big-data and education-related projects, both in full employment, such as with Microsoft Research, and as an entrepreneur and freelancer, such as with Metryx and SIOS. I’ve also recently completed an artist-in-residence program at San Juan National Historical Park, where I produced several educational illustrations for their use.
I’m currently in the Portland area, working as a User Experience designer for Seeq, a platform for big data analytics in the process manufacturing industries, while continuing my storytelling work as a freelance illustrator and designer.
