Meanwhile, back on the space station…

We need an update, don’t we?

So despite evidence to the contrary, I have not fallen off of the edge of the Earth. Nor have I traded in my artistic skills for some ability to fix motorcycles or add four-digit numbers together and get a correct answer. I’ve been working at a great startup called Seeq as a UX designer for one thing, continuing the data visualization and interface design work that I started back at Microsoft, only this time it’s being put into a real product. That’s pretty cool. And there’s a lot to be said for working with a team of people who really know what they’re doing, both on the product design front and on the business entrepreneurship one.

I’m also working on various artistic projects in my free time.

I won’t go into them in too much detail now, as they’re still cooking on the stove and it’s best not to lift the lid and let all the steam escape. But here’s a few character design teasers.

That’s it for now, Houston. We’ll be back in touch when there’s more to report.
